Several months ago, I booked Jan. 20-24 for a trip to LV staying at the Orleans. Did not realize when I booked that the construction convention would be on that week with 85,000 attendees and that the 21st. is a holiday (sorry, I live in Canada). Just wondering if the town is going to be packed over that period and perhaps I should re-schedule to the following week.

How busy will it be?
Do you plan to be spending much of your time at Orleans? If so you should be fine.
It will probably be more crowded closer to the convention center, and along the monorail route. But nothings guaranteed.
I was there last year with the CES in town and porn convention at the Venetian. Definately crowded at the Venetian, but I had no problem walking around the Wynn, which was close to all. Book any shows or dining choices you want in advance to be sure you get those choices.
I wouldn%26#39;t worry too much about the holiday.
