Special Occassion Restaurant Needed in Vegas

Hi All

I am planning a surprise holiday for my other half in January for his 30th birthday.

We will be spending a few days in Vegas, and will be there on the actual day of his birthday.

Does anyone have any recommendations for any good restaurants for special occasions - maybe some with good views, where I can book a good table in advance?

Any help/recommendations would be great as I have never been to the US before, let alone Vegas!

Thanks :o)

Alize at the Palms-great views, great food-perfect special occaision restaurant.

My favorites:

You can%26#39;t go wrong with any of them. They are all off strip but you will find better food and service in any of them then most restaurants on the strip.

I would concur with ANDRES in downtown, first class and is not in a decadent smoky smelly casino.......also Ferraros on West Flamingo, great Italian food

Nero%26#39;s at Caesars has very good food and a great atmosphere.

Harrah%26#39;s Range Steakhouse with a great view of the strip and the food is fantastic. You can check the Harrah%26#39;s website to take a look at the menu. www.harrahs.com To see if this is what you are looking for. Also a good restaurant with a view of the strip and the Bellagio fountains is The Eiffel Tower at Paris and you can check the menu also on Harrah%26#39;s website. Also on the website they have phone # so you can call and make a reservation.

Have a great time in the US and Vegas for your husband B-Day.

thanks everyone! thats been really helpful

Hi Shopaholic,

Please report back on the the place you decide on or PM me as I%26#39;m going in May and will want to push the boat out atlest once for a special occasion. Stayimg in the Wynn and had looked at there menu online which looks really nice and witha price to match!

Dinner at Prime in the Bellagio and then dessert on their patio is wonderful(but pricey)
