Fremont St Tree Lighting Ceremony

Hi All

Would really like to take in this festive celebration during our visit.

I realise that Vegas isn%26#39;t big on Xmas, but it would be nice for us Brits to get a litle bit of christmas style magic while we are there............

But I have read two different reports. One says it is on Friday 7th the other says Tuesday 11th.

Don%26#39;t want to miss it. Anyone out there in USA got any idea EXACTLY when it is?

I saw that one but also saw a press release saying the friday but I can%26#39;t seem to find that now...............

Must be back to the 11th. Will be a nice way to end our trip.

Hi there I too a, going to Vegas and was looking up when the tree lighting was.. this is what I found above....

Sorry gossyboy.. I went to the Fremont site and it is the 11 of December... my bad.. lol!!

Oh, now I%26#39;m relieved- I was afraid I had given info from an outdated site- but I looked again at the ';Experience '; site and it was the calendar from 2007- Whew! I%26#39;m glad the other poster corrected themselves - that misinformation is on that Yahoo site- but I wonder where they got it.

I%26#39;m pretty sure the tree lighting is sponsored by Fremont St. Experience ,so they surely had the correct date!
