mgm v balleys or Monte Carlo

Of the three, I would go with MC, even with the construction.

mgm v balleys or Monte Carlo

When%26#39;s the trip? Solo, couple or group of friends? What age group are you? What are you hoping to get out of your Vegas trip? Any of these options could work depending on the answers to these questions.

It%26#39;s Bally%26#39;s, not ';Balleys';.

All of these hotels are similar in price for a standard room but Bally%26#39;s and Monte Carlo are more center strip with MGM towards the southern end but not by much.

We really need a little more info to help you out. But you can search this forum or look at the reviews of each hotel on the left side of the page. It will give you pictures and recent reviews to go on.

feb - me and my girl friend, see the sights and playing some poker

MC - Just remembered the construction so maybe thats a no for there.

Ballys only 3 diamond award v mgm %26#39;s 4 - is there much difference, i like ballys location

delboy, I have only stayed at one of your three choices. If you look at the thread ';bally%26#39;s or paris'; you can find out more info on Bally%26#39;s, especially photos of North Tower rooms. These rooms are very nice but normally do not have a view. If you require a view, you might get the South Tower which has much older furnishings from what I understand (I don%26#39;t believe I have ever stayed in the South Tower).

Bally%26#39;s doesn%26#39;t have a theme or special attraction (Eiffel Tower, Volcano, pyramid, etc) but has great location. The WOW factor might not be there for your girlfriend - not sure how she feels about that.

Bally%26#39;s has a poker area which would be good for you. If I read this right you%26#39;re going in February so the pool is not a factor. Bally%26#39;s is connected to Paris so it is nice being able to go between the two without walking outside. Not to muddy the waters, but have you considered Paris? There are also photos attached in the Bally%26#39;s or Paris post, or you could click on my name for photos of the room. Getting the awesome view was an upgrade, which I got for a $20 tip.

delboy, sorry to post again, but I wanted to give you the Bally%26#39;s or Paris link incase it gets shuffled back before you read this.

Bally%26#39;s has the best location but the rooms are old and furnishings are dated. Monte Carlo can have really good deals and overall the rooms aren%26#39;t bad. Marble bathrooms and curved rod showers. The rooms are starting to look bland compared to the newer renovations but the MC is in the process of renovating and have renovated their suites already. Nice thing about Monte Carlo is that its a quick walk from the taxi stands to registration desk and to the elevators. The only downside is that their honestly is not a whole lot to do in the Monte Carlo so you%26#39;re always going elsewhere.. But it is good because there isn%26#39;t all the hustle and bustle from other visitors cruising through your hotel to see whats going on.

MGM Grand is good if you don%26#39;t realy want to leave your resort. It is a huge resort with the downside of potentially having long lines to check in and for taxi%26#39;s.. plus a 10-15 minute trek to your room. But the gaming area is huge and there are lots of restaurants there. Their tower rooms have also been recently renovated and are of decent size.

Bally%26#39;s is nice enough and has a good location on the strip and is connected to Paris.

Monte Carlo is also nice but the location isn%26#39;t as good but fair.

My vote would go to Bally%26#39;s due to location and the rooms being a little larger than the others.

Stick with MGM. I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll be disappointed.
