Circus Circus - Large King Tower Room

I have found a good deal for a large king tower room at Circus Circus for well under $100 per night.

What are these rooms like? Do they look like the picture on their website?

Do they have views and spas?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you been to Vegas before? Are you aware that CC isn%26#39;t a very desirable hotel? It%26#39;s seen far far better days and its location isn%26#39;t great at all.

Tell us a bit about yourself, when your trip is planned for and roughly how much your hotel budget is (I%26#39;m guessing from what you say that you%26#39;re looking at something around the $100 per night mark) and you%26#39;ll get better suggestions than CC.

Circus Circus is very much a budget hotel. Some like the place, most don%26#39;t. I wouldn%26#39;t expect much from CC other than a cheap room at a cheap price. As far as the strip is concerned, CC is probably on the bottom notch of all hotels. Even it%26#39;s location is less than desirable. If an economy room on an economy budget is your goal, go for it, but I think you%26#39;d be better off looking around a bit more. Spend the few extra bucks and stay somewhere a little nicer. Check out the promo codes on sites like fatwallet.com. You might find something a lot nicer for the same price.

The only good thing about CC is their steakhouse. Ate their twice last trip, amazing filet mignon. But millions of kids (or it seemed that way) running all over the place. I personally would look some where else to catch some shut eye. Remeber after those kid are running around, they then go upstairs to thier rooms.

We have a huge trip planned around the US and are trying to keep within a budget.

I haven%26#39;t been to Vegas before but do understand where CC is and that it is full of children.

We will be going in May and it is just myself and my boyfriend.

The photos of the large king tower rooms look a lot nicer than many other hotels in our price range, but we are not planning on staying in our room for long periods of time either.

If anyone has stayed in these rooms, can you please give me a rundown of what they are like.

do a search on ';Sancho';. Search within the results by ';date';. Once the results appear, scroll down until you you see his post.

He is the ultimate defender of the CC.

I think if you have not been to Vegas before and don%26#39;t realize just how bad the CC is, you are going to be very dissapointed. It is not on the strip, in a very seedy area of town and is extremely run down.

You should be able to stay in a much nicer hotel right on the strip for about the same price. Check out Ballys, Flamingo and Harrahs to start with. I would rather stay at the Tropicana or even Hooters than CC.

As someone else said the steakhouse is great but even walking through the casino is gross. You really can do better almost anywhere else.

Here%26#39;s the Snacho thread:

oops! Sancho!

househunter, CC is actually on the Strip. It%26#39;s just that the North Strip resembles a seedy construction site these days.

Legaly, your Vegas experience would be diluted greatly by staying at CC. Have a look at Imperial Palace, Excalibur, Tropicana or off-Strip places like Gold Coast or Orleans. All of these would be better choices.

Low--lol- minor slip up--snacho.

You probablydid that on purpose.
