which hotel???

ok help me decide....Excalibur, Ballys, Monte Carlo, Famingo, or Harrahs? im trying not to break the bank with the hotel so these are my options. Appreciate in advance!

which hotel???

I have stayed in none but from what I compiled here on this forum the Mone Carlo and Ballys might be the nicer options out of the bunch... have you looked on all the websights.... Both the MC and Ballys look very nice. Happy Travels

which hotel???

I would choose Bally%26#39;s. Excellent location.

i was leaning towards ballys myself thanks for the advice

I haven%26#39;t stayed at any of these properties either, but I do have impressions of them as a whole from time spent in the casinos, restaurants, shows, etc.

I%26#39;d like to stay at Flamingo . . . if nothing else to enjoy the pool area. So, if a pool is a consideration, Flamingo is a great choice. I%26#39;ve not seen Monte Carlo%26#39;s pool, but understand it is nice as well.

Flamingo also wins the bet for location, IMO . . . with Ballys and Harrahs following. You enter Harrahs right off the strip. Ballys is set back so far on the property, I think that would annoy me.

For entertainment value, I%26#39;d opt for Harrahs. The casino is generally very busy (too busy for me, however). We enjoy Dueling Pianos there and Carnaval Court is great fun. We also enjoyed Toby Keith%26#39;s I Love This Bar and Grill . . . but that will probably only appeal if you enjoy country music.

My impression of MC is that it is probably the classiest of the properties you%26#39;re considering.

Excaliber would be my last choice . . . particularly because of location, but also the overall ';feel'; of the property.

stay @ ballys, you will be very happy there ,location location location, nice hotel very good service, request a strip/fountin view room. there%26#39;s to much construction going on down towards monte and ex, and bally%26#39;s is the better of these imho .

wl\ill be there in dec and we hav e rooms @ bally

enjoy ,viva las vegas

sandy, dont forget EI right behind bally%26#39;s ask for the special

How old are you and when are you traveling? This is important information in order to best advise you.

I have only stayed at Flamingo of the five choices, so here are my opinions based upon what I know:

1. Flamingo Very nice hotel with clean basic rooms. Great pool. Fun casino. Great location. Margaritaville on premises.

2. Harrah%26#39;s Fun casino with the best collection of bars of the five choices. Excellent location.

3. Bally%26#39;s. Excellent location. Connected to Paris. Casino is getting a little dated.

4. Monte Carlo Very nice hotel, but with not much vibe. Fair location-not the best.

5. Excalibur Have not spent much time there, but reviews are usually more to the negative side. Not a good location.

28 and in feb. i will be traveling with in-laws though so a hotel that different ages can enjoy i suppose

Sandy, I would recommend either Bally%26#39;s or Harrah%26#39;s. February is not pool weather so that minimizes the advantages of Monte Carlo and Flamingo. Excalibur is in the least desirable location and will probably be overrun with families with kids traveling during school vacation.

Bally%26#39;s has the best location and would have the largest rooms. Harrah%26#39;s rooms, though smaller, are probably more recently renovated and I%26#39;ve heard some great reports about the quality of service there. Both are walkable to many attractions.

Hope that%26#39;s helpful.
