any advice appreciated? a bunch of us turning 30 are meeting in vegas. one night we would like to go to dinner all together. we are staying at ny ny. italian would probably be ideal to try to please all parties.
any suggestion?. i have read through the tripadivsor rated items and not really found any clear winners.

Well if you want Italian food and you don%26#39;t need anything very upscale, I%26#39;d recommend Maggiano%26#39;s. They specialize in group dining - you can order in advance from a ';family style'; menu where everyone shares dishes. The food is good and the atmosphere is warm and fun.
I%26#39;ve asked the same question before on this forum. Some have recommended Batista%26#39;s Hole in the Wall. But it gets very mixed reviews. People either seem to love it or hate it. I%26#39;ve looked into Maggiano%26#39;s for group dining and I would describe it as upscale. The least expensive group menu was $60+ per person. If budget is an issue I would use Bucca de Bepo. I know it is a chain, but we don%26#39;t have them on the east coast so it is new experience for most of my groups. It is a fun place for a group. You can do a huge menu, including wine for about $35 per person. It%26#39;s not on the Strip (Flamingo, about a mile east) so getting there might be an issue. I work with bus tours, so transportation is not an issue for me. Have fun
$60/person is not expensive when you realize that includes appetizers, desserts, and gratuity. Can you find someplace cheaper, well of course you can, but you know that saying, you get what you pay for.
$60pp seems reasonable. I had this conversation w/ a friend and she mentioned sergios? any comments?
we will not have transportation and appears sergios may be able to provide it, which would be nice for so many people.
