My short TR

Returned home less than 2 hours ago!!!!

Left home Tuesday, drove to Vegas by myself, and got there around noon.

Drove directly to PH, to deliver a package (from her mom), to one of the waitresses who is from Los Angeles.

Then to Orleans, to check in, and from there directly to Hooters, where I was suppose to meet Spike at 4 PM.

This was the highlight of my trip. I finally got to see the ';every ones favorite';, Mr Spike, himself.

Now that I met him, I understand why all, who have met him, are ';in love'; with him. Such a great guy, friendly and helpful.

Anyways, after 4 hours and 10 screwdrivers, it was time to say goodbye.

Next two days was business as usual.

Gambled in Orleans, Wynn, South Point, PH, MB and Golden Nugget.

Won in Orleans PH and Golden Nugget, but lost my shirt in Wynn South Point and MB.

Thanksgiving dinner at Westin!!!!!!!

$35 and 45 minutes of waiting for some very ';normal'; Turkey dinner.

Today (Friday) woke up at 6, had breakfast, checked out and drove to see Spike at his work place and say my goodbyes.

Drove straight home, none stop, in 3 hours and 35 minutes.

Next trip?

March or April, with wife, staying at Paris

And ofcourse, after that, the June trip and the Mega Meet :)

My short TR

This was my 5th stay at Orleans.

My wife gets free rooms from Harrah%26#39;s, but the only card that I have in my name is from South Point and Orleans.

I like them both, but South point is newer and cleaner, yet 5 miles away.

Orleans is Okay. Nothing fancy, but friendly service and okay size rooms and stuff. And the price is great also

much better than CC, IP, Trop, Riviera

Wow..a man on a mission. Delivers care package to PH waitress (possibly looking close to his avatar), pounds back screwdrivers one every 15 minutes while trading stories with Spike and gambles up and down in 6 casinos.

So what was the game of choice in those casinos?

Did you have a slushy for Ducky?

Drive like the devil to get home to write us this TR.

Sigh....to only live about 3 1/2 hours from Vegas. On the hand, that might be too tempting for me :)

Great Trip report!

What I want to know is how your wife let you off the hook for Thanksgiving! We spent ours with in-laws (grandson was a bonus though).
