Harrah's TR Promotions

On our last trip to Vegas in July, we stopped at the Promotions desk in a Harrah%26#39;s property and they had a promotion going where if you earned 50 points in any TR casino, you got a scratch gift card for 2-1000 free music downloads (which my niece loved) and a mini pepsi can. If the can lit up within an hour or so you could redeem it for prizes. You could play once per day at EACH of the 6 properties, and DH and I wound up getting about 20 little cans between us during our 5 day trip, and I think 6 of them won..... the smallest prize we won was a 20 food comp and the biggest we got was 50,000 TR points which translates to $500 in comp dollars. It was fun and pretty profitable. Anyone know if there is any current TR promotion? We%26#39;re going back on 12/24 for a week.

Tottie, TR is total reward points. These are the points you earn when playing at Harrahs properties.

TR = Total Rewards it is what HET calls their Players Club

Go to the Harrah%26#39;s.com web site, and they list the current promos....there is one right now for the holidays. Our Harrah%26#39;s in KC is giving away a little gift each week, and we swipe our cards to see if our name gets drawn (mine never does) to win cash for the holidays.

Vegasdragon just posted recently about Harrah%26#39;s shopping in Vegas using your points (try the search box to find that post...think TexasTJ is also going to do that promo)

Where??? I started with the Harrah%26#39;s website, and the Total Rewards website, and I see lots of info. about room promotions, the Great Gift Wrap Up (I had read Dragon%26#39;s thread too), and the online contest, but nothing about the current in-house promotion series (where a fairly small amount of in house play during the promotion period results in entries/prizes of some sort).

Let%26#39;s see if I remember right....after you get to the Harrah%26#39;s web site, you choose your location (Vegas) then click on the Events and Entertainment choice to the left of the screen, and then you choose your dated and there is a drop down box for drawings (if I remember correctly)

Anyway the gift wrap thing is the one I was thinking of earlier today.
