IP savings

I have never stayed at the Imperial Place but I have used their spa and dined at The Embers Steakhouse in IP. Well, somehow I started getting emails from them.

This looks like anyone using the code can get the deal. I don%26#39;t belong to their players club so it is not related to that.

The code HLT07 reduces the rate of a deluxe room to $49.95.

It must be booked by Nov 20 and some dates are excluded.

I hope some of you IP fans can use the code to save a $. :-%26gt;

shrinkgirl-

Thank you so much for the HELPFUL post. I%26#39;m sure someone can use it. If only everyone were as nice. If you use the code, you are basically getting a deluxe room for the standard price. About ten bucks off a nite.

bbrown, where were you when we decided that it was rude to refer to any hotel as a ';dump';? One person%26#39;s ';dump'; might be another person%26#39;s ';nirvana';.

you couldn%26#39;t pay me $50 a night to stay at The IP. I know many love the place - something for everyone and I%26#39;m glad we can all exercise our personal preferences. Is $50 a night during slow season that good a deal? If so, I hope it works for some. I%26#39;d stay up all night in a nice casino and hit a good spa at 6am before I stayed at IP - better use of my $50.

I have to agree with ';Bridge---';, as I stated in a previous post, IP is a dump (I had to pry the elevator open to get out of it on my last visit and on a previous visit I ate at their buffet and was leaving when a bunch of workers ran past me towards the escalator whose motor floors below caught fire), but it is my current favorite dump due to it%26#39;s location. I like their Mai Tai%26#39;s at their Mai Tai bar and I use their spa only because it is not overhyped, but they did up their prices a couple years ago and know it%26#39;s not such a great deal anymore.

Thanks, Shrinkgirl for posting this. Any information posted here that might help someone on the forum get some kind of deal is always very much appreciated- no matter what other people might think of a hotel, restaurant, etc.

Figured I would weigh in on this .

On this forum, the IP has many detractors, and in the past I have been one of them. The first time I was ever in the place, I thought , a crowded smoky casino. (which is great, because I kind of like the ambiance of crowded smoky casino ) So when my flight was delayed once I booked a one nite stay there and hated the room.

We played enough to get a 3 nite comp, and on the next trip gave it another try. Had a great time and have stayed there the next 3 trips, including the nest one this Sat, (Nov 24) So I have learned to like the place.

The buffett is really bad, but the other eateries there are pretty good, the pool is better than average, and an average bankroll there will get you some pretty good comps. Valet parking is an easy in and out, and we all know that the location cannot be topped.

All that is required is to do some advance planning through the casino host office, to get a good renovated room location .

The place is only a ';dump'; by Las Vegas standards. A $50 hotel room of this quality anywhere else in the world would be considered a real bargain.

Thanks for sharing Shrink!! IP is NOT a dump.... I%26#39;ve found that most people who have stayed there never claimed that..... it%26#39;s a budget hotel, with great choices on gambling and good service... I%26#39;ve stayed there twice, yes the elevators are a bit slow.... but I never had to wait more than 3 minutes....

Business as usual.

49.95 is expensive. Unless the second nite is FREE.
