jet blue prices out of jfk

Hi all! Was thinking of going to Vegas in april around the 10th but Jet blue prices seems to be very high. husband has a bad back and Jet blue %26#39;s leg room was great for him the last time we went and yes we do need non stop. We left out of Jfk last June and the flight was very good. But we did not pay any where near the 800.00 dollars the are asking for April 08.We live in Ct and was thinking maybe Boston might be better. Sure wish Hartford had non stops. If the prices do not come down we are thinking maybe earlie June.

Jet Blue prices are not out on the net yet for June. Any thoughts or comments will certainly be apprieciated. ( sorry for spelling errors)

Thanks in advanced , from Sandy in Connecticut

When are you going? I know the kids are out of school the week of April 21st. That is their spring break. I am leaving out of JFK on March 23 (Sunday) and returning on the red eye Friday night and the fare came to $388.30. I can%26#39;t think of leaving out of any other airport that may be cheaper.

Sandy, I fly JetBlue out of DC to Vegas exclusively and have found that the non-stop prices from here are usually slightly lower than non-stops from JFK. ($99 range each way) So if Logan is convienient you might check JB from Boston. As far as the high rate goes, it%26#39;s because you%26#39;re checking way too early. I have found the best prices with them 3 to 4 months out and then I continue to check to see if they go down. I flew them IAD - LAS for $89 each way last Dec.

Forgot to mention.

In case you haven%26#39;t flown with them in a while, the seats with the most legroom are up front now.

I am flying JetBlue out of Logan in January. When I checked, all the redeye and real early morning were $159 per person and was nonstop. I paid $259 a person to Vegas and $159 from Vegas back to Boston. I love JetBlue and will only fly that now if they go where I am going. The TVs at every seat really make a flight go by quick.

I only fly Jet Blue to Vegas leaving from JFK. I just returned from my trip Nov 10th thru the 14th. I started looking for a fare in August. I thought the prices were very high also. They started at $200 one way. What I did was went to farecast.com and also kayak.com. They track Jet Blue also. I checked with them every day twice a day until I caught a good fare. You would be surprised how the fares were going up and down. Jet Blue stays pretty consistent but they do change. The trick is being aware when they do. Being that you are going in April I would sit tight awhile. They do run sales to Vegas from JFK. I am betting if you wait you will find one probably after the holidays..

Thanks so much all, It is spring break week, and I am off from shool that week.. I will watch closely and maybe change The trip till June. lokked at the convention calander and it looks as there is a major one around that time also... Finding it hard to wait that long though!!!!!
