We have never made a bet on sports. If we go up to the window and ask what to do will they help us or give us look like we are stupid? Might make a bet on the Packers/Dallas game Thursday night when we are there. And also, can you go earlier in the day and do it?

You can bet on Thursday%26#39;s game today. They usally put up the NFL lines late Sunday night for the next week games.

of course you can ask - at any time before the game - weeks, days, hours or minutes before.

get the sheet, know the game #, look at what the line is for the game, decide how you wsnt to bet and ask at the window - easy and they will always help.

Bib, do note that the games are all numbered. On the board or cards on the left usually if memory serves. So be sure to know the number of the Packers-Cowboys before going to the window. But like MusicMan said, as long as they are not busy, ask away. They%26#39;ll gladly help. Good luck.

It%26#39;s like anything else. If somebody asks you a naive question when you have time to explain it, you probably won%26#39;t mind. If somebody asks you a naive question when six people are waiting to get your attention, you%26#39;ll probably be less patient.

You can make that Packers/Cowboys bet any time that week, so choose a time when there isn%26#39;t a crush of people trying to make bets. Don%26#39;t be afraid to tell them it%26#39;s your first time, all of us had a first time once too.

I placed my first sports bet at the Golden Nugget on Thanksgiving Day, the gentleman that helped me was extremely nice and very helpful as it was my first bet. I didn%26#39;t have the number or know what I was doing at all. And I won!!
