My husband and I are going on our first trip to LV in mid January! How cold does it get? I want to only take carry on luggage and have to pack efficiently. We are staying at the Green Valley Ranch and my husband would like to play golf, are there such things as rental golf clubs so he won%26#39;t have to lug his there? I%26#39;ll be 6 months pregnant, so he%26#39;ll have me to lug around instead! Thanks in advance!
January weather/golfIt is impossible to predict what the weather will be like while you are there since the temps can vary a great deal and what it is like one year has nothing to do with what it is like the next year. Someone telling you that they were there in Januaray in such and such a year and the highs were...... isn%26#39;t going to help you at all because this may not be what the weather will be like when you are there.
The average high- upper 50s but the highs can range from the 30s to the 70s. Average low- upper 30s but can range from the teens to the 50s.

It is always best to bring clothes that can be layered. Tops with long sleeves, a mediumweight sweater and a lined jacket will see you through most any kind of weather. Check a weather site just before leaving to get a more accurate idea of the weather- if it is going to be in the 30s, 50s or 70s!
January weather/golfSure clubs are available at all the coarses. LV is year-round golf, but the weather can be iffy. Just be sure to start after 10:00 am and before 1:00 pm. This way it will be warm enough and that you get finnished before dark. Just be sure to bring clothes for cool and cold weather, and layer them so you can peel them off as you go and get warmed up.
