Used to think the same thing myself.

Purchased my first certificate with a great deal of skepticism. Have used at two different places and everything has been fine.

I had no problems using my certificate. I would recommend telling the waiter early in your dinner/lunch that you have it so they have enough time to validate and prepare your bill correctly.

They expire a year from their issue date. There are special instructions listed for each one (such as how much you have to spend etc.)

Do they only take one certificate per table or can I buy multiple certificates and use them all for one dinner?

We are going to Vegas in June for our honeymoon. We are thinking about staying in the Bellagio. Can you please tell me is this hotel central? Also even though I%26#39;ve seen loads of good reviews for this hotel would you recommend we stay there or in a different hotel?

Bellagio is slap bang in the middle of the strip and is superb (in my opinion).

Seeing its your honeymoon then its a great choice it has excellent resturants my wife and I love it there, we have a fourth stay planned there for march.

There is simply no other hotel to stay in while in Las Vegas. You will love it! We stayed there in August for our 25th and will never regret spending a bit more to stay at the one and only Bellagio!

The B is the center of the strip and is a very nice hotel. Since this is your honeymoon you may be wanting a suite with a tub for two. If you can afford a suite at B go for it. If not consider MC next door to the south.

I just completed a survey from Harrahs regarding their Total Rewards program.

It sounds like they are considering reward credits for all purchases (hotel, dining, etc) instead of just for gambling.

No, they asked how you would feel about earning Reward Credits on ALL money spent at the hotel.

They also asked if you would prefer to earn credits on all money spent or have the 10% discount in all Harrahs shops.

I think I%26#39;d prefer to have credits on all money spent. What do you think?

However, YOU need to use the NEW Harrahs Credit card.

Another way to make money off the customer.

The rewards program is a rip off.

Ballys or Luxor ?

Looking for nice quiet place on south or central strip. Does not have to be too fancy. I know Luxor is a bit less expensive and not quite so well located. Would appreciate any feedback / opinions on preferences. We dont gamble so casino not important. Thanks

I just returned %26amp; I have to say even though I stayed at the Luxor a few years ago I couldn%26#39;t believe the change. I thought there were alot of young adults-20 somethings and ALOT of cigarette smoke!! Bally%26#39;s may be better

I think Bally%26#39;s would be better, due to location and bigger rooms. It is a more quieter casino than most if you are looking for low key type. It is easier to get around to check out different places and places to eat. Have a great trip in where ever you decide to stay.

We have stayed at both within the past year. I would recommend the north tower at Bally%26#39;s. Rooms are larger, with a loveseat plus table %26amp; chairs, staff are pleasant, and the location can%26#39;t be beat.

Food options are not great, but it%26#39;s close to Paris, Bill%26#39;s, and Ellis Island.

We have never made a bet on sports. If we go up to the window and ask what to do will they help us or give us look like we are stupid? Might make a bet on the Packers/Dallas game Thursday night when we are there. And also, can you go earlier in the day and do it?

of course you can ask - at any time before the game - weeks, days, hours or minutes before.

get the sheet, know the game #, look at what the line is for the game, decide how you wsnt to bet and ask at the window - easy and they will always help.

You may not find the atmosphere at any of these places to be to your liking. They tend to attract young people with lots of money and few manners. There will be little seating if you%26#39;re not willing to pay through the nose for it.

Some alternate suggestions you might consider are VooDoo Lounge, Ghostbar, Studio 54, and Polly Esther%26#39;s. You can go to riovegasnights.com and print out a pass for free admission to VooDoo Lounge, if you%26#39;re going to be there on a weeknight. All clubs will be less crowded and easier to get into during the week.

My wife and I are both 30. We%26#39;ve gone to Tryst and Lure at the Wynn. Tryst is more of a club, with a bigger dance floor. Lure has a small dance floor, but the atmosphere is more laid back. Had a great time at both. Although Lure did have little signs on the tables that said %26#39;reserved%26#39;, nobody bothered us as we took an occasional seat at them - the table we sat at obviously wasn%26#39;t booked. Lure also has some couches that don%26#39;t appear to be ';by reservation only';.

We (a couple in our mid-20s) just got back from Vegas over the Thanksgiving weekend. My first suggestion is LAX at the Luxor. We walked by LAX during the day on Thursday and asked the VIP services guy standing outside the club if we could get on the guest list that night. He put us on, and when we returned at 10:45ish (early is good - 10:30 is when the club opened) we were let right in (though there was no line yet) and paid NO cover. I would DEFINETELY recommend LAX - there was a great mix of all ages from 20s to probably 40s all night, and great music for dancing. The downside was there was only seating for bottle service, and they were really stringent on not letting anyone else sit.

My other suggestion is the Playboy Club at the Palms. Again, big age range, good music, and at this club, groups were allowed to sit at the tables reserved for bottle service, at least until it was about time for those who paid for the table to arrive. There was some available seating in other spots in the club as well. As far as the cover, I can%26#39;t really say because we paid for the ';all-access'; Palms pass that got us into all 4 of the Palms clubs. I did see on the Palms website that you can submit your name for the free guestlist at Playboy, but can%26#39;t speak to how well it works.

Lure at Wynn is now Blush which advertises itself as a ';boutique lounge';. Depending on the night you go, it can be very lively.

The spreads and odds at the major hotel groups (Harrah%26#39;s, MGM/Mirage, Boyd, etc.) will differ slightly, but I find the difference isn%26#39;t necessarily significant unless you are talking about futures betting - who will win the next World Cup or Super Bowl, for example.

My recommendation would be to visit a sports book from each hotel chain and check out the odds they are offering on the sports that interest you and decide for yourself. For futures betting, I have found the best odds at the Boyd casinos and some of the smaller downtown casinos.

it really depends on what kinda gambler u are if your a big player u wanna shop around for the best line if u just wanna throw a couple of bucks on the game and sit there and watch it id go for one of the nice ones like belligio ceasars
