3 nights at Venetian vs. 4 nights at MGM?

Hi everyone,

My DH and I are making our second Valentine%26#39;s day trip 2/13 for either 3 or 4 nights. We%26#39;re trying to be somewhat economical (LOL) and make this decision. We%26#39;re not big gamblers so we pretty much go for a little gambling, great dining and drinking (and a show or two). We%26#39;ve stayed at both hotels and like both them for different reasons but would be happy at either. I%26#39;ve been researching a lot of different hotels on the strip and these two are our favorite choices.

Any advice would be great.

If you signed up for the players cards, why not try fatwallet.com and look for specials. They often have great prices for Sunday through Thursday stays!

Venetian is great with access to all the close casinos around it. MGM is just a monorail stop away from center strip, is a wonderful hotel, and has tons of eating choices.

Many times you can find specials for around $69 or so at MGM on fatwallet.com

Feb 15th %26amp; 16th will be more costly being Friday and Saturday.

For shows, I%26#39;ve enjoyed MamaMia, (If it%26#39;s still playing then) Spamalot, and for a comedian Rita Rudner.

I%26#39;d love to see Phantom, Love, and in April, Jersey Boys at the Wynn.

If you%26#39;ve stayed at both, I%26#39;m not sure what advice we can give you beyond what you already know. I agree with the suggestion to check FatWallet for promo codes.

It seems to me that for a Valentine%26#39;s Day trip, Venetian would be a more romantic choice. However, I would venture to say that MGM will usually be less expensive. Again, I can%26#39;t be telling you anything you don%26#39;t already know.
