i heard or read somewhere that that there are helicopter trips that only take a couple of hours and not all day.i am looking for info on these tours as i am only in vegas for a few days.can anyone help?

Many companies do a half day trip to GC. They land at one of the rims for half an hour.

If you%26#39;re going to spend the money, and especially since you%26#39;re coming from Ireland, see the real canyon in Grand Canyon Natl Park. There are lots of heli and air tours that fly over the canyon. Tours that ';land on the rim'; are not in GCNP. If you can spend more time, most tour providers have a coach tour on the ground in the park which allow you to see more of the park.
