Helicopter Trips to Grand Canyon

Im wanting to book a trip the Grand Canyon in a helicopter from vegas. Im too not bothered about going to the bottom of the canyon or stopping at a ranch etc....if anyone has been on one of these tours and they can recomend that would be great.

Also is it best to book now or when i arrive next week?

I booked with Sundance Helicopters - and just went with my hotel recommendation...they booked if for me ....they also offered Maverick Helicopters ...another good firm is Papillon...all three have websites if you google them - and all 3 are reputable..and more or less the same prices.

I took a sunset flight to the Canyon and back - the whole thing was about 2.5 to 3 hrs round trip..and it was about $330 including limo pick up. I can honestly say it was worth every dollar ...if you pick a late afternoon flight you will come back just as The Strip lights up...so that with the Canyon is a great trip...and a once in a lifetime experience.

Have you not considered staying overnight at the canyon? GC is one of the world%26#39;s great wonders and should be really savored, not checked off a list as just another thing to do in Vegas. Staying overnight would really let you appreciate its magic.

Whatever tour you choose, make sure it takes you to Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. For the best experience, stay overnight., or at least book a tour which includes a ground tour as well as air tour. Scenic Airlines, Grand Canyon Airlines and Papillon Helicopters are good providers.
