$250,000 Ultimate Game Show at LV Hilton

About every other day I search lvcva.com, lvol.com and Vegas.com for shows during my next trip. Today I came across $250,000 Ultimate Game Show at LV Hilton. I hadn%26#39;t heard of it. Here is the information I found. I wonder what kind of games they will play? Seems to be LV Hilton%26#39;s competition to PIR Live on Stage. Does anyone think they%26#39;ll go? I think it would be neat to see Bob Eubanks...

';Three legendary game show hosts, Bob Eubanks of “The Newlywed Game” %26amp; “Card Sharks,” Chuck Woolery of “Love Connection” %26amp; “Lingo,” and Jamie Farr of “The Gong Show” and “M*A*S*H,” have come together to bring some of America%26#39;s most recognizable game shows together for the first time right here at the Las Vegas Hilton, beginning October 8!

The $250,000 Ultimate Game Show will have more winners on stage (more than 50 per show at nine shows a week) and will give away more money and prizes (more than $50,000 each week in guaranteed cash and prizes) than any other live game show in recent history.

At each show, an audience member will have the chance to win $250,000. If that person wins $250,000, every audience member who has a valid ticket for that show will also win $100. Each show will feature one of the legendary hosts as Bob Eubanks, Chuck Woolery, and Jamie Farr rotate days during the week.

That sounds like fun! I took a quick look at the website but can%26#39;t find a link to buy tickets. Guess I%26#39;ll call tomorrow.

Thanks 15mwaltrip!

I found the press release, but of course had to keep looking. This is from a link found on ticketmaster.

I am still looking!

I can go for free - and won%26#39;t.

Sounds like a horrible way to spend precious time - I%26#39;d rather be golfing, playing tennis, at the spa, reading by the pool or gambling.

That%26#39;s me - some may love this. I can%26#39;t imagine paying for this, but heck, LV provides something for everyone, and i hope those that go love it.

So did you go, 15mwaltrip? I just bought my ticket online for my visit this week, and I can%26#39;t wait to see this show! I have played the song that accompanies the Game Show info on the LV Hilton website yesterday morning and this morning before I get ready for work and it just gets me going! Hummed it to myself all the way to work! Since I%26#39;d never heard of this show on my previous visits, I wanted to research it on Trip Advisor and found this post, which informs me that it is indeed very new. I am curious for a report from someone who%26#39;s been! Anybody? I%26#39;ll be sure to post mine next week.

Oh yes, and bridgefan 1, if I win, perhaps I%26#39;ll see you at the spa, or gambling?! :%26gt;)

annsplans-

I did not go but would love to hear about it. Be sure to report back. I haven%26#39;t read anything other than the info I posted.

~15m

I too wonder about this show. I was thinking of going with my mother in law when we are there the first week of Dec. I had read that some of the games are take offs of ';newlywed game'; ';gong show'; and some others.

Well, alrighty, then: looks like I%26#39;ve got my marching orders! Will be reporting back as requested!

(Why do I still get so excited at my age about yet another trip to Las Vegas? I feel like a kid at Christmas!)

A customer of mine today was smiling about how much fun he and his wife had out there; they just got back and he said they didn%26#39;t want to leave. He said don%26#39;t miss the Oldies R%26amp;B shows at the Sahara, George Wallace and Gladys Knight at the Flamingo (I had seen that one already). I wanted to say, ';But did you see the Game Show?'; but had to keep moving my line! I%26#39;ll add to the Don%26#39;t Miss List Jubilee!! at Bally%26#39;s. That is just so - WOW. Later, Y%26#39;all! :%26gt;)

We%26#39;ll be going Tuesday, Dec. 18th. It sure would be nice to find out more about it before then. :)

We went to see the Price is Right in April. It was fun even if we didn%26#39;t get picked.

I%26#39;m curious about this show too...here%26#39;s a description of it from Vegas.com:

Sounds a little more interesting than the Price is Right show since the hosts are really tv game show legends. Kind of a bummer that you only get one of them per show though.
