No, no, no - it%26#39;s not too late to make reservations. Start calling or checking online. And don%26#39;t rule out motels and off-strip locations. Many smaller places won%26#39;t require you to stay for the full 3 days prior to the big night, either. I started here on tripadvisor last year in early December and booked a room at a small hotel for only New Year%26#39;s Eve, and moved to a strip location starting the 1st. Keep looking - you%26#39;ll be surprised.
If you also mean parties, they%26#39;re all over town. Fremont Street will have the Doobie Brothers and the Bangles (vegasexperience.com). For others, each hotel%26#39;s site will list their clubs and parties.
