How long IS the strip ????

So many people have reported blisters, aching feet and tiredness so i%26#39;m just wondering how long is the strip from say Four Seasons to Stratosphere ?

Is it really too far to walk everywhere ?

I can hear you laughing already ! lol ! x

How long IS the strip ????

I think it%26#39;s somewhere around 4.5 miles from end to end. Not to mention the vast space around the properties, the aching feet can come just from walking in the front door of a place and out the back lol.

How long IS the strip ????

IrishFan is correct. Just getting to where you want to be inside one of the larger hotels can be a 10-15 minute walk from the sidewalk.

If you want to ';walk the Strip'; then break it into mangeable chunks and do one per day. A lot depends on the time of the year when it comes to how much walking you want to take on.

There is a good reason that it is recommended you bring well broken in, good fitting walking shoes, lol!

LOL !!!!! Thanks everyone

So heels are out of the question then........!!!!

4.5 miles - WOW ! someone told me it was 1 mile from end to end - what WERE they thinking ? lol

I%26#39;ve been sat here thinking, a mile ? thats cool, can do that ! Little did i know hey.

I have 2 weeks to drag all my flats out then, best get started :)

It%26#39;s very deceptive on how far the distances are between properties. For example, a walk from Paris to Wynn is not accomplished in 15 minutes, even though it is just over a mile in actual distance.

Here is a map from vegas.com that may give you some idea of distances too.

I used to have a link for another map, but can%26#39;t find it. Happy walking!!

Yeah i%26#39;m starting to realise there is a bit more involved than i thought.

Now your probably gonna laugh again when i say this but we are in Vegas for 1 week, is this enough time to see plenty? Hotels, casinos and hotel attractions..........

x

Thanks for that , will have a look x

A week will be enough time to take in plenty of hotels and casinos. I would divide the strip into sections, do the north end, middle and south end. Allow one evening to go downtown. You can take a taxi or the duece bus if you don%26#39;t have a car. Just pace yourself and enjoy! You%26#39;ll be back! The first day you%26#39;ll be walking around with your mouth wide open and in awe!!!

That is sooooooooo true !

Just looking at everything on the net is awesome,i can only imagine what its actually like to be there, i am sooooooooooooooo excited !

DH and myself have had many a discussion on our first 24 hrs in Vegas and for the first time i think i may actually be speechless ! lol !

I think we might give the game away - EVERYONE will know its our ';first time'; :) x
