If you are passing by, yes it is worth a stop. The chocolate factory is a bit on the sad side, meaning it isn%26#39;t really much. The garden is really very nice tho.

The cactus garden is lit up with a great display of Christmas lights if you%26#39;re visiting over the holiday season.

It is worth it if you like cacti. It is a nice place to get away from the noise and the lights of the strip. Well, it is unless you happen to hit a time when the tour bus comes rolling in. There really isn%26#39;t a factory- just a few people demonstrating how their chocolates are made-if you are lucky. Many times you won%26#39;t even find that. You may end up just walking down a long corridor with little movie clips demonstrating how the chocolate is made. There is a big store where they sell the chocolates, ice cream, etc. You get one free sample. They used to let you choose what you wanted to sample but the last two times I went they just picked it out for you.

There is also a natural water recycling area- they do use the same water over and over again and that is kind of interesting. But the main attractions are the cacti- I think it is a really nice garden and I enjoy going there just to walk through it when I need some peace and quiet!

If you are going between now and the beginning of January they put on a fantastic Christmas display. They put something like 300,000 lights on their cacti and it is really beautiful after dark. Plus they usually have carolers and Santa on week-ends.

This will give you some idea of what their Christmas display looks like (of course it is better in person):

The chocolate factory is more store than tour. But, I really didn%26#39;t get a guided tour.. I just sort of walked on my own. The cactus garden is really neat... When I was there, they were just starting to put the holiday lights in place. It was shaping up to look like it would be really spectacular! I enjoyed it. The store has some very tasty chocolates to offer, of course. So, if you%26#39;re a chocoholic... it%26#39;s worth the time.

We always stop by if we%26#39;re in the Henderson area. I think it%26#39;s a fun distraction from the usual gambling and the strip.

As others have said...it%26#39;s not a huge factory. It%26#39;s a self guided tour, and you get to see them actually making things through big glass windows. You do get a free sample at the end....Yummm!!!

The cactus garden is cool IMO.....a nice quiet area with some interesting cacti.

Last time we were there, we even spotted a gentleman with an ';escort';...so keep your eyes open! LOL.....

It%26#39;s a bit hard to find until you know where you are going...it%26#39;s in a very industrial area.

I think it%26#39;s worth a stop! =)

I trip to the Cactus Garden is definitely worth it if you go at Christmastime. It is one of the few places in Vegas that gives you a true Christmas-y feeling! I always looked forward to in December. It is even better if you can go on the week-end.
