Caesar's Palace room quality

Hi everyone,

I found a special for Caesar%26#39;s Palace. They call it the Post Thanksgiving Special and for the weekend in January that me and some buddies are going to LV, the rates are $160/night for Friday and Saturday night. But, I read that Caesar%26#39;s was first built in 1966, so I don%26#39;t know if they give the ';old'; rooms for discounted fares. Also, there are 5 towers. . which one is the worst and best? It looks like you have to pay extra for Augutus so I%26#39;m guessing that%26#39;s the newest one. I can%26#39;t find this information so the Net so hopefully someone who%26#39;s familiar with the property can help me out. I want to write some stuff in the ';Requests'; section. . maybe a tower preference or sth.

By the way, last time we were in LV, we stayed at the Luxor and was pretty happy so as long as Caesar%26#39;s worst rooms are on par or better than Luxor, we%26#39;ll be happy :)

Thanks!

Augustus Tower rooms are the nicest, and the most expensive.

Forum Tower rooms are also quite nice and usually less than August Tower rooms.

All other towers are older, and from what I have heard and read some of the rooms definitely show their age.

Okay, lets assume you get the oldest room.

No matter what, you are staying at one of the best hotels in Vegas.

You need to ask yourself, if staying at CP is what you want or staying at Luxor with newer rooms.

I rather stay at CP

But, with $160 a night, you might have better options also

As mmlm01 said, Augustus Tower are the newest, nicest and most expensive rooms but Palace Tower is far far newer than the original towers and is also very nice.

Once you get beyond Augustus and Palace and onto the ';standard'; rooms, it%26#39;s a bit of a crapshoot as to how nice your room will be or otherwise.

Augustus and Palace towers have the nice rooms. The Forum tower room I have been in was very outdated to the point of dingy. We stay at Harrahs if we can%26#39;t get a comped Augustus or Palace tower room. The standard rooms at Harrahs are nicer than the standard rooms at Caesars in my opinion and much cheaper.

Augustus Tower is newer but the Palace Tower has been redone to be identical. They are starting to charge same rate for both Towers on most nights. There are renovations happening in the Forum Tower but I don%26#39;t know if those rooms are in circulation yet. I would try to get a room there.

CP is an amazing property but it has downsides, primarily its ginormousness. To me, you have to have the right room to make the experience worthwhile and I wouldn%26#39;t be interested in taking chances on a classic room. It may be on par with Luxor, but usually there is are rooms out there that would better for the money. I would check into Planet Hollywood first.

We had a Palace Tower room and it was fine, nothing to complain about. Check the photos on TA as I posted a couple of the room.

Just returned yesterday from 8 nites at Caesars, stayed in Forum Tower. They are still upgrading the tower, the last few days we were there a sewrage smell would woft through the room during the afternoon. I would advise to stay away from this tower until work is complete.

I have stayed at CP many times there and never had a problem with their rooms. They are better or more to par than Luxor. The Palace is better than the Augusta. It has a his and her bathroom and a huge room with a great sitting area.

Forum has been renovated are at least most of them has and are very nice and modern.

CP is a fantastic place to stay and the Casino has a great vibe and also great nigh life there and a lot of good places to eat. I%26#39;ll be there in Jan. and I can%26#39;t wait.

pruske, the Palace Tower room you%26#39;re describing is the Palace Tower Premium Room. I got upgraded to one of those a few years ago when those rooms were called petite suites and it was great. The standard PT room (Deluxe as it%26#39;s officially called) only has one bathroom and whilst it%26#39;s very nice definitely isn%26#39;t as good as the standard Augustus Tower room.
