A question never asked I'd bet...

A neighbor is going to Vegas in Feb. and want%26#39;s to take pictures of the Strip from different locations and altitudes w/o having to pay for a chopper so......

Are there any hotels on the Strip that have views from windows in the hotel hallways?

A question never asked I'd bet...

We got some distant pictures of the strip from the top of the parking garage at the Orleans. You may be able to do the same from some of the other garages on the strip, go to the top and look around. NYNY has some views too. Not as high as a chopper, but maybe that will be a start!! Good luck!!!

A question never asked I'd bet...

Most of the strip hotels don%26#39;t let you up into the hallways without a room key.... so parking garages will probably be the only option.

Top of Rio parking lot.

Maybe your neighbor can go to the top of the Stratosphere tower which is 1,149 feet tall. I have been up there and they do have nice views at night. Also, there is the Eiffel Tower at Paris which is 540 feet tall. Those by no means are those the same as being in a chopper. On our next trip my husband and I are going to take one of the night helicopter tours and the price is not as bad as I thought it would be.

No one ever checked for our room key at MGM at the elevators. The only hotel I%26#39;ve ever stayed at that actually checked keys was Bellagio.

But why?..

When there are plenty of professionally done postcards, CDs, posters etc...from different angles.

Professional shots are great but can never replicate the feeling of looking at a picture with the knowledge that you actually pressed the shutter yourself with the view right in front of you.

Ah so..

a picture is worth a thousand words, my grasshopper :)

Exactley Blagger. It%26#39;s all about perspective.

Well I guss the ole boy will have to stick to parking garages then. I told him about Strat, Paris, Voodoo and Palms, but he%26#39;s looking for that ';unusual'; shot.

alright, here a link to all the tall buildings in Vegas. If it is accessible and with telephoto lens, perhaps that would give some different shots.

Also recommended night time (or even day time) shots from the summerlin area towards the strip (I-215/summerlin parkway) heading east, a very beautiful view of the strip %26amp; DT.
