This will be my second time going to vegas .I like that the seats i had you could see the hotels as u land. I landed from north to south of the runway so i was on the right side of the plane where the strip was.
Now im wondering is this always the case at the airport for planes landing? I have chosen the same side seats and hoping it doesnt change the flight path and land the other way.any comments?
thanks
Landing parallel to the stripThe first time we actually landed that way was last week, so our seats coming from Denver paid off. Othertimes it%26#39;s been in different directions (I can%26#39;t remember specifically). It was a beautiful way to come in to Las Vegas.
Landing parallel to the stripflight patterns are determined by conditions at flight time - you can%26#39;t guarantee what they will be
I agree,,especially if wind is coming from the south then being on the right side of the plane is excellent since ure landing from the north.
If there are empty seats ill jump to that one b4 landing lol.
I recall being able to see the Strip out of the right side of the plane as we descended, but I%26#39;ve also ended up facing north ont he runway seeing it out of the left side of the plane. It depends on where you%26#39;re flying in from, the weather, how busy the airport is, etc. There%26#39;s really no way to guarantee which side of the plane to sit on. Try to look at it this way: You%26#39;ll have a much better view of the Strip from VooDoo Lounge or the top of the Eiffel Tower than you will from a tiny plane window :)
Great will try to do that :)
Ill be arriving from toronto so hopefully crossing fingers and the view will be good. Im a plane freak and love flying and landing at cool airports and scenic views.
