Hi My spouse turns 30 next week and we will be in las vegas for this celebration. My parents are also joining us on this trip, can you suggest a few restaurants with great ambience/food that will make this birthday a memorable one.. thanks

There are so many restaurants, I think we need more information- what type of food do you like, what is your budget for dinner, do you want something close to where you are staying or are you willing to drive/grab a cab? Let us know and we can help.

I made a reservation for Joe%26#39;s Seafood, Prime Steaks and Stone Crabs for my Dec. 12th. birthday. Never been there, but it looks good and I%26#39;ve heard good things.

I highly recommend Emeril%26#39;s Fish House at MGM Grand for a celebration. Great food and great service in a nice atmosphere.

Thanks everyone for your responses..

Well 2 people are vegetarians from the 4 of us. Price doesnt matter as long as the atmostphere is fun and festive ( we like to stay away from places that are too formal). we want to have a good time... :)

thanks in advance.

I looked up some places.. hoe are spago and olives?

Olives is wonderful! We ate there on Thanksgiving (our second time at Olives) and it was just as good as we had remembered. The patio and view of the fountains was phenomenal. You%26#39;d have to ask the waiter to be sure, but the butternut squash totrelli is wonderful and I think it%26#39;s a vegetarian dish.

I was going to suggest Prime but with vegetarians it%26#39;s probably not a good bet.

I just checked out Olive%26#39;s, there is very limited vegetarian food...

any other suggestions that incorporate a great view along with good food?

Alize at Palms.

Possibly Picasso at Cirque.

Some of the Wynn restaurants have views of the Lake of Dreams or other water features which could be nice.

In general, most of the fancy restaurants seem to be meat/steak oriented which is problematic for non-meat eaters.

Hi TRAVELER0078,

Olives is a great choice I think. They have great pizzas that they call flatbreads. Just talk to the waiter and tell them you have vegetarians. I am sure they can accomodate you.

How strict are your vegetarians? Are they able to have dairy products like cheese, butter? If not could get tough.

Do you guys like sushi? Maybe a good Japanese restaurant would be good for you. Not that I can recommend one...

Thanks everyone for your advice! I think I will stick to Olive%26#39;s and the second day we might go to Chinois at Ceasers ( i have been there and loved it). :)

ps: the vegetarians are not strict, they eat eggs and diary products, just no seafood, red/white meats.
