Mccaron airport food?

What places are there to eat in the airport? I keep forgetting. Also, is that Don Alejandros texan grill any good there?

NO food inside the airport is any good and ALL is VERY overpriced. I would eat there only if stuck on a layover.

As I recall there was stuff from Subway to McDonalds. All of it EXTREMELY over-priced. I ended up getting something from Burger King. Their ';value meals'; were about $8 -$9 bucks.

i ate at Don Alejandros out of necessity in august. there is really nothing to eat in the airport there except taco bell and burger king. the food at don alejandros was edible. not anything to write home about, but wasnt the worst i have ever had. i read in the in flight magazine that they are working to upgrade the food options at the airport. it was evident they were doing some work in the america west terminal.

yes the taco bell was near my gate in the terminal that america west was in. it might even have pizza hut. but after a vacation in vegas full of eating restaurant food, the last thing i wanted was a taco from taco bell. it would have made for a long plane ride home.

there is a burger king but best to stay away unless you want to spend a portion of the day on the pot

In that case the six bucks goes toward the best meal deal in town, that%26#39;s right, the $4.95 Sirloin Steak Special at Ellis Island, BABY...

My local airport is one that is managed by BAA where the prices in the terminal are the same you would pay in a normal Mc D%26#39;s, Pizza Hut etc, same goes for goods sold. An item at the Brookstone Store and others costs the very same as it does in the mall. Odd........BAA makes money using this strategy...must be onto something! Too bad airports like Chicago O%26#39;Hare and McCarran do the price goudging thing. Then they probably wonder why business isn%26#39;t as good as they think it should be. *rolls eyes*

I would be happy to see a Subway. All I have seen is Burger KIng and Taco Bell for mega $$$. Bring some snackies from the ABC store in the Desert Passage Shops to tide you over.
